Writers Off the Block is an initiative from 830 Music Group. They organize songwritingcamps for the professional music industry. They hope to create a welcoming and inspiring environment. The structure of the camp is arranged in a way so that there is a lot of time to write, but there is also time for social interactions and getting to know your fellow attendees of the camp.

The camps are organized by musicians and producers who would like to create affordable opportunities for other musicians. With the experience they have on writingcamps, the camps will get better and better each time. Every camp, they work together with artists, publishers and labels who provide them with pitches to potentially work on.

Writers Off The Block was founded by four producers/songwriters/friends: (from left to right) Tobi Verheij, Bas Wissink, Noah Timman and Niels Sakko.
